Stop Re-Typing Wholesale Orders Between Shopify, Your ERP and Your Inbox

This short video shows where manual work hides between your store, ERP and inbox: purchase orders from stockists, price lists, case packs and size runs. It shows what that work costs you each month, and which handoff to fix first, using the tools you already pay for.

Free. We map one real order from last week. You leave knowing which handoff to fix first, even if you never hire me.

If this happens every week, the video is for you.

  • Nursery shops, pharmacies and independents email purchase orders as PDFs, and someone retypes them into Shopify or the ERP.
  • A stockist is charged the wrong price because their price list lives in a spreadsheet.
  • A size run sells twice over, because trade and retail draw on the same stock at different times.
  • An order sync fails quietly, and the warehouse ships the same pram or cot twice.
  • After the order ships, someone builds the stockist's net-terms invoice by hand in accounting.

Small handoffs add up to a big monthly bill.

30 hours a month

6 minutes per emailed purchase order × 15 orders a day × 20 working days

This is an example. It counts only the retyping, not the fixes: wrong prices, oversells and late orders to your best accounts. On the call we use your own numbers.

How it works

  1. Map one real order

On a 30-minute call we follow one stockist order from last week through your store, inbox, ERP, warehouse and accounting. We write down every place where a person moves data by hand.

  2. Price the handoffs

Each handoff gets a cost: the minutes, how often it happens, and the damage when it goes wrong. Some you can simply stop doing. We pick the one worth automating first.

  3. Build it into your tools

I connect the systems you already have and add validation, duplicate protection, retries and failure alerts. Your team keeps the approvals that need judgment.

Is this for you?

Good fit

  • You sell baby or kids products direct and to stockists.
  • Your team moves orders, prices, case packs or stock between systems by hand every day.
  • You run an ERP, an accounting system or a 3PL next to Shopify.

Not a fit

  • You want a new store, a theme or a redesign.
  • You want someone to install a single app.
  • You take a few stockist orders a month. Automation wouldn't pay for itself yet.

Who you'll talk to

I'm Cemal. I build the connections your software doesn't have.

No-code tools work until a workflow needs custom validation, API logic, database access or its own interface. At that point you need an engineer. I work with APIs, backend systems, business software, integrations and AI, and I always start with the tools you already use.

You talk to the engineer who builds it, not to a salesperson.

Questions

Do we need to replace Shopify or our ERP?

No. We start with what you already pay for and connect the gaps between those tools. New software comes up only if a real requirement is left that your current stack can't handle.

What happens on the call?

We follow one real order from last week through your systems and mark each handoff. You leave with the handoff worth fixing first and a rough monthly cost for it. No pitch deck.

What does a project cost?

It depends on the handoff. After the call you get a fixed-scope quote, set against what the handoff costs you each month. If it won't pay for itself, I'll tell you.

Is AI involved?

Only where it helps, for example reading PDF purchase orders. If a field is uncertain, a person reviews it before anything is written to your store or ERP.

What happens when an integration breaks?

Every build includes failure alerts and duplicate protection. When something fails, your team hears about it right away. It doesn't turn up weeks later as a double shipment.

Which tools do you work with?

Shopify and Shopify B2B, ERPs and accounting systems, 3PLs, spreadsheets and email. If a tool has an API or an export, it can usually be connected. We check access on the call.

Do you understand case packs, size runs and batch numbers?

Yes, and they are usually where the work is. The store sells one unit, the warehouse picks a case of six, and the ERP counts eaches. Size runs, pre-book orders and batch traceability for recalls follow the same pattern: the data exists, but a person carries it between systems.
